“I’ll tell you what freedom is to me: no fear.”
— Nina Simone

Carrington Kelso is a Black, Queer storyteller who leaves it all on the stage when he performs. His sound has been described by listeners as “something you have to hear”. A beautiful blend of Pop, R&B, Soul, and Electronic; his passion can be heard in every lyric, every note. Kelso’s musical journey started in classical choirs throughout grade school and moved into performance in college where he joined Georgia Southern University’s Adrenaline Show Choir.

During his stint with Adrenaline, Kelso taught himself how to play guitar and started writing songs. After graduating in 2015, he released his first EP, “T.N.T (The New Truth)”, with his good friends (and bandmates) Christian Warner and JT Kuhn. The project was wild, energetic, and passionate. These 3 had never recorded a project together and now they were hooked. Unfortunately, life happens and the band had to take a break. Kelso returned in 2018 with his first solo album, “Baptize Me”, and has been playing in and around Atlanta, Ga ever since.

After performing in Atlanta for years, Kelso took some time to live and experience the world around him. In that time, he got into his first relationship, moved in with a partner for the first time, and survived a global pandemic. These experiences combined birthed his 2nd studio album, “First, We Fall”; an album about lust, love, and everything in between. This album sparked a creative renaissance for Kelso. His desire for freedom in, and around his art was stronger than ever and it can be felt in every song from this album.

Striving to continue the search for creative freedom, Kelso and his partner moved from Atlanta, GA to San Diego, CA for an all new adventure! Arriving in the summer of 2023, Kelso immediately got to work on his 3rd studio album, starting the new era with the lead singing: “WHOLE”.

If you’re new here, we welcome you to this journey! And if you been here from the beginning, we thank you for your loyalty!
